Arne Peters is an assistant professor in English linguistics at the University of Potsdam, Germany. His work within the frameworks of variationist and cognitive sociolinguistics as well as cultural linguistics focuses on L1 and L2 varieties of English worldwide, most notably the ones spoken in Ireland and Southern Africa.
Neele Mundt is a lecturer in English linguistics at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany. She works in the field of applied linguistics with a focus on English in central Africa. Her research is situated at the intersection of sociolinguistics, applied linguistics and language policy in Cameroon.
