Im Rahmen der Buchreihe «Beyond Humanism: Trans- and Posthumanism / Jenseits des Humanismus: Trans- und Posthumanismus» erscheinen Monographien und Sammelbände, die Aspekte zum Themenspektrum des Humanismus entweder historisch oder systematisch erörtern. Hierzu gehören die Krise des Humanismus sowie die daraus resultierenden zwei Hauptströmungen, die sich darum bemühen, den Humanismus zu überwinden, der Trans- und der Posthumanismus.
Autorenportrait
Elizabeth Butterfield is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Georgia Southern University, where she regularly teaches courses in Existentialism, Ethics, and the Philosophy of Religion. She received her PhD from Emory University in 2004. Her recent publications have addressed topics such as Sartre and Marcuse, James Bond, and maternal authenticity.
