This book evaluates the the concept of existential freedom and its relevance in human life. Existentialism as a philosophy holds that existence precedes essence. This implies that a person is first conscious of one's existence and only defines one's life and what one wants to be much later.This philosophy can be therefore applied as method of assisting people not to depend on the already existent defined lifestyles, but also be innovative in their lives and choose nobel courses of action.

Moses Abwire Akuloba is a Lecturer of Philosophy at Moi University, in Eldoret, Kenya since 2003. He Holds a Masters of Philosophy (M.PHL.) Degree in Philosophy from Moi University and Bachelors of Arts Degree From Urbaniana Pontifical University in Italy, Rome. He has also published a number chapters in books and refereed journals.
