The Belt & Road Initiative (BRI, afterward) is an innovative and great proposal which has been termed as the 'project of the century'. This book is the outcome of an academic research on the BRI led by China. The BRI is the most discussed and debated topic in the current world. The author investigates and analyzes the ongoing debate and its ramifications for the world in general and China in particular. The theoretical underpinning of the BRI and its connection to overall policy matters pose a dilemma for scholars, policy-makers, and interested readers. The author is a researcher at the college of Economics and Management, Northwest A&F University, Shaanxi, Yangling, China. He was a recipient of the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship for PhD program. He has research interests in China-led Belt & Road Initiative, and published some papers in the international journals.
