Beschreibung
How do teams of daycare professionals prepare children for school? What do children contribute to school-preparatory interactions, what is relevant to them and what role does peer culture play in this? The study examines video and interview data collected in two daycare centres. It reconstructs by means of interaction analysis which pedagogical attitudes and values are implicitly followed by the teams of professionals and which forms of agency children can develop in practice.
