The ability to perceive lessons professionally is seen as a mediator between theory and the practical actions of the teacher. Teachers should be able to quickly grasp what is happening in the classroom and interpret it on the basis of theory in order to make decisions on this basis. The result of the study illustrates the potential of authentic classroom videos to promote professional classroom perception in professional teacher training. This book provides a training concept to promote this perceptual performance.
