Specifically, it investigates the economic and agronomic impacts of medium-term climate variability and heat stress on rice-wheat systems and farmland values in Pakistan. In addition, it investigates the potential of a crop insurance market and the drivers of farmers' willingness to pay insurance premiums. It comprises six chapters in total, out of which are four empirical papers.
