Over a period of time a lot of things have changed and through the exploration of four plays you will see what makes theatre, culture and identity great through the area of British Gay Drama. With this exploration it will be explored how we as humans can repress are own identity to appease others and how it is difficult to find your own identity in one's life. So over the course this short book I hope you find an inquisitive and insightful outlook on how theatre, culture and identity has changed over the course of the mid to late 20th century. Liam Donnelly has achieved a B.A. Honours English with Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in T.E.S.O.L at Ulster University (2012 and 2013 respectively) and currently works as an English Language Teacher in Lugo, Spain. His areas of interest are Dramatic and Performance Theory along with Creative Techniques and Methods in Teaching English.
