The Paris Conservatoire is the premier school for music in France. After completing a course of study, the students would participate in the annual Concours in order to win the right to graduate. This book will explore a selection of pieces written for the oboe Concours. It will provide analysis and suggestions for performance aimed at helping both teacher and student understand and perform these pieces at the highest possible level.
