In this collection, Katja Alves retells some traditional Swiss mythsexciting, funny, and sometimes gruesome tales from all four regions of the country. The exquisite illustrations were created by nineteen young artists who hail from Switzerland. Katja Alves, geboren in Coimbra, Portugal, und aufgewachsen in der Schweiz, arbeitete in verschiedenen Berufen unter anderem als Buchhändlerin, Journalistin, Fernseh- und Rundfunkredaktorin. Heute ist sie hauptsächlich als Kinderbuchlektorin und Autorin von Kinderromanen und Hörspielen tätig. Sie lebt mit ihrer Familie in Zürich.
