Autorenportrait

François Voegeli has a PhD in Sanskrit Philology from the University of Lausanne. His main research interests are Vedic ritual, Vedic philology, and the archaeology of South Asia. Vincent Eltschinger is a research fellow at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and currently focuses on the religious background and apologetic dimensions of late Indian Buddhist philosophy. Danielle Feller teaches Indian religions at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and her main field of research concerns the Sanskrit epics and k?vya literature. Maria Piera Candotti is Lecturer in Sanskrit at the University of Lausanne. Her interest mainly concerns the metalinguistic theories developped in the Sanskrit grammatical tradition (vy?karana). Bogdan Diaconescu is an Indologist and scholar of religion who specialises in Sanskrit knowledge-systems and Indian religions, studied in their various historical and cultural interactions, Sanskrit and Pali linguistics, and the expansion of Indian thought in Asia. Malhar Kulkarni is a Vaiyakarana by training and currently teaches at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai.
